On Wednesday, the Amherst Police Teamed up with the ALICE Training to prepare for a worst case scenario. The training was at the Amherst Regional Middle School. The goal, to prepare for a gunman. More specifically, what to do in the critical moments between when a person starts shooting, and when law enforcement arrives.
