To Combat Threats, Green Bay Introduced to ALICE

The 20,000 children in the Green Bay Area Public School District are in the midst of learning a new response to an active shooter or other immediate threat. “I like to call it the Green Bay epiphany,” says Barb Dorff, Green Bay Area Public School District Executive Director of Pupil Services. Instead of ordering a traditional lockdown, where staff and students hide and wait for police, the district is now implementing ALICE.
