Courthouse to Close Early for Training

Plymouth County, Iowa

The Plymouth County Courthouse and Annex will close to the public at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23. County and state employees will participate in A.L.I.C.E, or Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate, training that day. Similar training has been done previously at Gehlen Catholic Schools and Le Mars Community Schools. Friday’s training is mandatory for members of the county board of supervisors, elected officials and all courthouse and annex employees. A.L.I.C.E. training is voluntary for any other county employees who don’t work in the courthouse regularly, according to a press release.
