Fitchburg State University will host a two-day training course in September to teach proactive survival strategies in violent intruder or active shooter situations.  The ALICE training — which stands for alert, lockdown, inform, counter and evacuate — is designed for law enforcement officials as well as school, church, hospital and workplace administrators and employees.
