The Fremont County Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Fremont County Courthouse on Tuesday, March 3. The supervisors heard an update from Fremont County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Crecelius on ALICE training for the courthouse employees. “ALICE training is basically designed to change the norm in an active shooter situation. Instead of locking down and hiding under a desk, this involves training to thwart the gunman or the hostile person that comes in,” Crecelius said. “The training isn’t reserved just for a gunman, it’s also designed to help in a situation where someone comes in with a knife, or a club, or just a bad attitude.” Read more
