Greater Latrobe Schools Foundation’s Grants Enhance Security Training

The Greater Latrobe Schools received grants totaling $265,850 from the Greater Latrobe Partners in Education Foundation that will serve the district’s students, officials said. Mike Porembka, Greater Latrobe director of teaching and learning said the grants help enhance programs under way such as the staff security training, a program called ALICE for “Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate.” Read more
