Gridely Public Schools – Gridley, CA

Frustrated with the outdated system and protocol in place, Gridley High School Principal and former Gridley Police Officer Joey Adame is determined to educate students and their teachers effective active shooter options-based plans through ALICE Training. This article highlights some of the major components to this large project Adame has taken on this year. Some aspects of the process the school has begun to initiate is communicating with parents, creating an emergency operation plan, updating infrastructure, and preparing the minds and hands of students, teachers, and faculty.
