Licking Heights School District is taking steps to be prepared in the event of an active shooter or violent intruder situation. The new Licking Heights safety plan has multiple components. Along with becoming ALICE trained, Licking Heights is looking for ways to be proactive and efficient in their lockdown procdure. An initiative to install door barricade devices is on the table for Licking Heights. Training the faculty, staff, and students how to use these devices is an important component of the safety plan.
