Marshfield High School has never had a shooter in the building, but is getting ready if it ever happens. “First and foremost,” Marshfield principal, Travis Howard said, “while it may feel like a helpless situation, there are some things we can do to prevent the loss of life and that’s what we’re doing. This is a controversial topic at times, but if this time spent in training can help in an event like this, it is well worth our time.” “We just started implementing ALICE this year, starting with our staff in the winter,” said Howard. Students went through ALICE training last Friday.
