Cindy Letourneau came to Methuen High School Monday night hoping to learn about the security procedures in place to protect the hundreds of students at the school, including her son. “We hear of these disasters and incidents and it’s just a nice thing to be informed,” Letourneau said.In the presentation was information on the A.L.I.C.E. lockdown system — Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate — and the “If You See Something, Say Something” awareness campaign from Homeland Security used in the schools.
