Michigan Librarians Trained in ALICE

Michigan State Police provided ALICE training for librarians from all across the state. The primary focus of the program was to get people out of a dangerous situation. The training showed librarians how to neutralize a violent incident and they ran drills where they barricaded doors, practiced escape routes, and used a toy gun to illustrate how hectic these situations become.
