Missouri Senate Proposes $750K in State Budget for Active Shooter Training in Schools

A provision added to Missouri’s proposed budget by Sen. Kurt Schaefer would provide $750,000 for what he describes as “school safety and active shooter response training.” The grants would be administered by the Missouri School Boards’ Association. A final budget plan must be negotiated and sent to Gov.
