Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School – Fitchburg, MA
Police, fire and emergency medical personnel from throughout Northern Worcester County met recently at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School to learn about the school’s new comprehensive safety initiatives. The first-of-its-kind School Safety Seminar included a tour of the Worcester County Sheriff ’s Mobile Command Center, a discussion of the school’s recently implemented lockdown model, known as ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate Training), a demonstration of the upgraded surveillance camera system and a student panel discussion.
