Morgantown High School- Morgantown, WV
Morgantown High School, in conjunction with local officials, hosted a crisis drill Wednesday, Oct. 28, as if an intruder were in the building. During the drill, an intercom message was broadcast to indicate that an unidentified intruder was in a specified area of the school. Staff and students were instructed to initiate established emergency procedures. A short while later, another announcement was made that indicated the the intruder in another location. A final message of all clear was given and all classes returned to normal. All teachers and staff in Monongalia County have been trained in ALICE which stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. Read more
