Red Oak School District became the latest to undergo ALICE training sessions in the area. They have begun to implement ALICE to “enhance” their current safety protocols for active shooter situations. “We want to be ready. We want to make certain that if something happens, we would have our students know what’s going on, just like in a fire drill or tornado drill…”  Guidance counselor Brabec says initial comments indicate students took the ALICE drill more seriously than previous exercises, indicating good feedback overall. Read more
