Middle/High School Principal Scott Uppena also said that district staff went through A.L.I.C.E. (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training on Friday. The training prepares staff members for an active shooter situation. “We took them through some real scenarios that they might be faced with and we got some good questions and feedback from it over the weekend,” Uppena said. “This is just to get their wheels spinning and to get them some information because there are things that we don’t even have all the information for yet, as far as logistics.” Read more
