The areas of curriculum, safety and community outreach resonated in the presentations of all five principals who brought their plans for improvement before the School Committee last week.Hadley School Principal Stacy Phelan said Hadley’s goal is “to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment emphasizing the importance of overall social, emotional and physical health.” Hunt talked about having all Clarke faculty receive ALICE training to deal with emergency situations. ALICE stands for alert, lockdown, inform, counter, and evacuate. It is a program that prepares individuals to handle the threat of an active shooter.
