The Kirksville Police Department announces that Kirksville Police Department School Resource/Master Police Officer Richard Harden recently attended training in which he was certified in ALICE. The ALICE program is changing how schools, universities, places of worship, hospitals, and businesses respond to armed intruders. ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) is a set of proactive strategies that increase chances of survival during an armed intruder event.
