Everyone is safe after Cardington-Lincoln schools went into lockdown yesterday because a suspect fleeing police was in the cornfields outside of the school. The school was prepared with ALICE Training which empowered teachers and staff in this process. “We went through our ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training the first few work days the teachers were here,” Superintendent Brian Petrie explained, “and I think it gave them a lot of empowerment to be able to handle these types of situations.
