Training with ALICE-NH School District Practices New Intruder Response

New Holstein School District – New Holstein, WI

This summer, faculty members in the New Holstein School District prepared for in-school intruders with help from the A.L.I.C.E. Training Institute. New Holstein Police Officer Kurtis Stephany, along with Melissa Arps-a school resource officer from Two Rivers-worked to bring the program to the district. School staff members from the Neenah, Elkhart Lake and Denmark districts were also present during the two-day seminar. The ultimate goal is for members of the faculty to take learned information back to their districts to create better protocol. Read more
