Michigan State Police – Brighton, MI

If you were in the presence of an active shooter in your workplace, your grocery store, or your college campus — what would you do? That was the question Michigan State Police were answering to dozens of law enforcement, church, school and work administrators across the state during a 2 day ALICE instructor training course that taught proactive survival strategies to employees from workplaces across the state. At the training, workers learned a unique technique used by police so they’ll know exactly what to do in the event of a violent intruder or active shooter situation. The name of that technique is ALICE.
