The Kenosha Unified School District will move forward with a new approach to training staff to handle school intruders.The School Board voted unanimously Tuesday to move forward with ALICE — Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate — training for school staff. Superintendent Sue Savaglio-Jarvis said she hopes to phase in the new approach at all Unified schools over the next year. School Board member Dan Wade took part in the training. “It’s a process we need to undertake; it definitely needs to be done,” Wade said. “Is it (a mass shooting in a Kenosha school) going to happen?
