Waltham High School – Waltham, MA
Waltham High School conducted the first school intruder drill called ALICE. During the scenarios, the students were given information over the loud speaker by Principal Greg DeMeo, who informed them that there was a school intruder in the building with a gun, his directions of travel and his description. From this information, depending upon where the students were located in their classrooms, they had to make the decision to evacuate or lockdown and barricade. Read more
