IWCC is located  in Council Bluffs, Iowa, near Omaha, Nebraska. Currently the College offers 84 different vocational/technical programs and Arts and Sciences/Transfer majors. Current enrollment was 5,500 students. In addition, there are over 42,795 enrollments in continuing education classes each year.
