Granville Schools had 110 staff members  trained under  ALICE response methods this past week. “If a shooter knows that a school is ALiCE-trained, they’re more likely to go somewhere else,” said school-district communications specialist Mary Guiher. “There’s no elimination of risk in either situation, but with the ALiCE method you’re dramatically increasing your odds.” After undergoing ALICE live scenarios, the staff members could already see improvements in their safety and communication throughout the school. Read more
