Butler County Employees Participate in ALICE Training

Eighty-eight Butler County employees including secondary roads and the sheriff’s office along with the members of the Board of Supervisors took part in an ALICE training class at the courthouse and engineer’s office in Allison.  Butler County Emergency Management Coordinator, Mitch Nordmeyer tells KLMJ/KQCR News that training was led by certified instructor Kip Ladage from Bremer County.  Nordmeyer says since the September shooting at the Jackson County Courthouse in Maquoketa, ALICE Training is being held all over the state.  Read more
