Staff at Brookfield School District hurried to barricade a door with desks, tables, chairs and other objects during a simulation of an armed gunman in the building. The school district took part in A.L.I.C.E. training which deals in what should happen if there were to be a shooter on school grounds. Superintendent Tim Saxton’s priority was creating a “harder target” for anyone whose intent is to harm. Read more
