Bourbon County Sheriff Bill Martin and Uniontown High School (UHS) Resource Officer and Bourbon County Deputy Logan Probasco came to the USD 235 Board of Education’s monthly meeting Monday night to recommend the board send school representatives to an Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate (ALICE) training. “You react according to how you are trained,” Martin said. “I’m recommending you send three people through the training.””They’ve changed the procedure now from lock everything down, to if you can get away, get out,” Probasco said. “It saves more lives.” Read more
