Graham Schools board members agreed with the ALICE methodology and encouraged their district administration to pursue training. Superintendent Glismann said separate trainings would be done for students and staff at each building. “Ultimately what it is is a more proactive approach,” he said, noting that the current response at schools when a shooter enters a building is to lock the building down, with students and staff hiding in locked rooms.
