We thought this would be good for the entire organization. A new method to increase chances for civilian survivability was needed, which led police officer Greg Crane to develop ALICE, a proactive response to man-made threats. A veteran of Operation Desert Storm and law enforcement officer for 18 years, Springer said the ALICE training was the most thought provoking training he had ever been through, and he can still visualize the scenarios.
