September 24, 2018, Medina, Ohio – ALICE Training, the first civilian active shooter response training company in the country, has signed a definitive agreement with JC Tactical LLC (“JC Tactical”) to sell their RAIDER business unit. The RAIDER program teaches solo officer engagement tactics to law enforcement officers and armed security personnel throughout the USA. ALICE Training will continue to support the RAIDER program until October 2018.
Dave Mueller, CEO of the ALICE Training commented, “We are pleased to enter into this agreement with one of our long time, dedicated RAIDER trainers.”
Chris Pattie, President of JC Tactical and career law enforcement officer stated, “I am committed to continuing the success and long-term growth of the RAIDER program.”
This transaction underscores both companies’ devotion to the mission, training and empowering individuals. RAIDER will continue the solo engagement tactics training to provide officers and security personnel with the mental and physical skills necessary to act aggressively but not recklessly in extremely hostile environments. ALICE will continue to empower individuals to participate in their own survival using proactive options-based strategies to bridge the gap between when the incident starts, and police arrive.
About ALICE Training
ALICE training is the original civilian options-based response program that is designed to replace an inadequate lockdown-only response plan. ALICE addresses the fallacies of a one-size-fits-all response plan by explaining the truths and realities of Violent Critical Incidents. The reality is that extremely tragic outcomes in these events can be mitigated. They are very much survivable. Through training and empowerment, citizens can apply the ALICE proactive strategies and improve chances of survival in any environment where they may find themselves confronted by an active shooter or violent intruder. ALICE strategies are now also mirrored and recommended by many Federal and State official guidelines.
